Following an unfortunate injury to Superbon Singha Mawynn, the upcoming ONE Fight Night 15 card has seen a couple of major changes that promise to deliver the same level of excitement.

Originally scheduled to be headlined by ONE Featherweight Muay Thai World Champion Tawanchai PK Saenchai’s defense against former pound-for-pound king Superbon, the October 6 event will now be topped by the ONE Interim Featherweight MMA World Championship between former titleholder Thanh Le and rising contender Ilya Freymanov.

Thanh Le vs. Ilya Freymanov set to headline ONE Fight Night 15

The star-studded card has seen some other adjustments over the past few weeks, with the epic match for the vacant bantamweight kickboxing crown between divisional MMA king Fabricio Andrade and Muay Thai titleholder Jonathan Haggerty moved to ONE Fight Night 16. With this latest change, there will now only be two World Titles on the line, but there’ll be no shortage of star power and action. Top featherweight MMA contender Le has been on the hunt to reclaim the divisional gold since losing it to Tang Kai at ONE 160 in August last year.

With the Chinese World Champion injured, the promotion introduced an interim strap to keep the stacked division moving, and Le fittingly gets a crack at it. Opposite him will be a Russian finishing machine who is hungry to prove that he is truly one of the world’s elite. Freymanov has expressed his desire to fight the Vietnamese-American star to make a statement, and he gets to do that at ONE Fight Night 15 with the added bonus of gold on the line.

Meanwhile, Tawanchai will no longer be defending his crown at the event. Instead, he will take another step towards two-sport glory by stepping into his second kickboxing bout in a row under the ONE banner. In his last outing at ONE Fight Night 13 in August, the Thai star broke Davit Kiria’s arm to break into the top-five ranking of the featherweight kickboxing division. He will look to further climb the ladder when he takes on ‘Smokin’ Jo Nattawut on October 6.

Jo Nattawut is a veteran of the sports with an impressive resume

A decorated striker with over 70 wins, Nattawut has stood toe to toe with some of the best strikers on the planet, including Giorgio Petrosyan and current kickboxing king Chingiz Allazov. He’ll no doubt be looking to make a statement by ending Tawanchai’s incredible five-fight win streak when they square off.

ONE Fight Night 15 will go out live from the iconic Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, and will be broadcast live and for free on Amazon Prime Video for fans across North America.
