A new date for clash between Superbon Singha Mawynn and Tawanchai PK Saenchai

Originally slated to headline ONE Fight Night 15 earlier this month, their eagerly awaited bout was postponed due to an injury sustained by Superbon during his preparation. Despite this setback, Tawanchai still competed in a lower-profile bout, with “Smokin” Jo Nattawut stepping in on short notice to face the PK Saenchai product in kickboxing. The 24-year-old passed this test with flying colors, securing a unanimous decision victory and improving his record to 7-1 in the world’s largest martial arts organization.

This win also brings Tawanchai one step closer to two-sport success, as he now holds the #4 ranking in the featherweight kickboxing division. He is sure to continue this journey after facing Superbon in December. Superbon, representing Singha Mawynn, poses a significant challenge to Tawanchai’s reign as the featherweight Muay Thai champion. He is widely regarded as one of the finest fighters of his generation and previously held the featherweight kickboxing title until earlier this year.

A loss to the reigning divisional champion, Chingiz Allazov, at ONE Fight Night 6 in January cost him his title, but he still commands immense respect in the striking world. The 33-year-old star returned to the winner’s column in ONE with a stunning second-round knockout victory over Tayfun Ozcan at ONE Fight Night 11 in June.
