In a recent interview with The MMA Hour, Kade revealed that he had been offered a fight against Mikey Musumeci in the past and readily accepted, but it never materialized.

This time, however, everything is set. Kade Ruotolo will be defending his ONE Lightweight Submission Grappling World Title against Mikey Musumeci. “I think it was a match that was offered to me a couple of times in the past,” Kade revealed, “and I always said yes. I never declined a match-up, so any match-up they wanna make, “I’m always saying yeah.”
