ONE Fight Night 8 will be yet another massive card for ONE Championship when it goes live on American primetime from the Singapore Indoor Stadium next Friday, March 24. The 10-fight bill features intriguing mixed martial arts, submission grappling, Muay Thai, and kickboxing contests, and there are plenty of World Champions, veterans, and young phenoms appearing on the card who are keen to take an enormous step in their respective careers. 

Despite their differing paths, all of them are certified finishers – and there’s every reason to believe they could register another highlight-reel finish next week. To get you warmed up for the card, here are three of the best finishes from the stars competing at ONE Fight Night 8.

#1 Rodtang Jitmuangnon Overwhelms Sok Thy With Stinging Kicks 

Rodtang “The Iron Man” Jitmuangnon’s hard-hitting style is must-watch entertainment. And it didn’t take the Thai superstar long to please the global audience with his ruthless skill set as he dispatched Sok Thy just over a minute into the second frame of their battle in May 2019.

“The Iron Man” went to work with his stinging roundhouse kicks in the opening round, leaving evident damage on his Cambodian opponent’s leg. Rodtang continued to connect with bone-crunching shots to Sok Thy’s shin and thighs in round two.

#3 Itsuki Hirata’s Keylock Stops Angelie Sabanal

Itsuki “Android 18” Hirata capped off her professional MMA debut with a quick submission over Filipina warrior Angelie Sabanal at ONE: LEGENDARY QUEST in June 2019. 

After a brief stand-up exchange between the two, Hirata successfully shot in for a takedown and worked her way to a delightful highlight-reel finish from her rival’s guard. The Japanese star moved from mount to side control and attempted to hyperextend Sabanal’s right arm.

From there, she kept the Filipina’s shoulders locked between her thighs and cranked her hand further away from her body – instantly drawing a tap at 2:59 of the opening frame.
