Two World Title bouts will top the bill, but a slew of crucial pairings with huge implications will bolster the lineup and keep every fan locked in. Let’s break down the top three reasons why ONE Fight Night 24 shouldn’t be missed this weekend.

A New Interim MMA King Will Be Crowned

In the evening’s main event, former strawweight MMA king Jarred “The Monkey God” Brooks will clash with #3-ranked contender Gustavo “El Gladiador” Balart for the interim divisional crown.

Brooks has been nothing short of spectacular so far in his ONE run. He defeated three highly regarded foes and then took the World Title from Joshua Pacio in their first meeting at ONE 164 in December 2022.

Unfortunately, a poorly positioned slam in their rematch at ONE 166 this past March led to the American being disqualified and Pacio reclaiming the coveted belt.

A unification tilt with Pacio awaits the winner of this headlining battle, and fans should expect both men to throw everything at each other in order to get it.

Danielle Kelly Takes On Her Toughest Challenge

The ONE Fight Night 24 co-main event will feature another World Title contest, as atomweight submission grappling queen Danielle Kelly puts her reign on the line against the highly decorated Mayssa Bastos.

While it is only Bastos’ second match in ONE, she owns a whopping 115 wins in her professional grappling career and is considered one of the planet’s best in her division. The Brazilian adding ONE gold to her collection will only solidify that notion.

However, Kelly has made a career out of defying the odds, and she’ll be hoping to do the same on Friday night. The American edged out IBJJF World Champion Jessa Khan at ONE Fight Night 14 last September to clinch the inaugural divisional crown and stay unbeaten in ONE, so she has shown she has what it takes to win.

Two world-class submission grapplers will give everything they have when they meet to contest the atomweight division’s 26 pounds of gold in this battle.

Unmissable Muay Thai

Six of the 12 scheduled fights at ONE Fight Night 24 will feature blistering Muay Thai action. The bantamweight division may get shaken up, as it will see three important matchups go down. Former two-time World Title challenger Felipe Lobo will look to get back on track when he faces the towering Algerian-Thai phenom Nabil Anane.

Rising Thai star Ferrari Fairtex will be aiming for his fifth straight win when he takes on promotional newcomer Dmitrii Kovtun. And six-figure contract winner Rambolek Chor Ala Jaboon will seek to kick off a streak when he meets dangerous Irishman Craig Coakley.

Over at flyweight, Dedduanglek Wankhongohm MBK is seeking revenge against Nakrob Fairtex after he handed him his only loss in six fights at ONE Friday Fights 41 last November.

At 128-pound catchweight, Thai-Malaysian star Aliff Sor Dechapan will be eager to get back on the winning track against Morccan hard-hitter Zakaria El Jamari.

And finally, the thrilling show will open with an exciting atomweight fight between all-action Hong Kong striker Yu Yau Pui and promotional newcomer Amy Pirnie.
