Demetrious Johnson is the best flyweight in the world, and he proved just that. The highly awaited rematch between ‘Mighty Mouse’ and Adriano Moraes went down inside Singapore Indoor Stadium at ONE on Prime Video 1. The MMA G.O.A.T. landed a flying knee and walked off as he knew he had the bout in the bag.

Johnson came out firing in the bout, but a counter from the champion eased the pressure in the first minute of the contest. However, the MMA G.O.A.T. looked to fight out of character and entertain the fans.

The champion got the takedown in at the halfway mark in the first round. He went on to land some vicious ground and pound while the American was trying to defend & land shots of his own that even cut the champion.

A high kick in the second round hurt Johnson. Although the veteran tried to take the bout to the ground, he ended up in the bottom position. Moraes landed a few good knees to a grounded Johnson and kept him pinned for the entire second round.

In the third round, Johnson was aggressive with his attacks but also showed better defense. The champion’s face took a lot of punishment and looked terrible at the end of the third, chiefly with a bad cut over the left eye.

‘Mighty Mouse’ avenged his loss with the same maneuver used on him in the first bout.
