“One Day I Could Consider Vlogging as Another Career” – Stefanos Tsitsipas

Next-generation star Stefanos Tsitsipas is coming off a very good 2019 season, reaching a career-high No.6. He also clinched the biggest title of his career so far at the 2019 ATP Finals. However, tennis is not all the Greek is pursuing his career in.

Tsitsipas’ hobbies include making videos by himself and sharing them on his official YouTube account. He is also seeing vlogging as an alternate career. The 21-year-old likes making videos as he can carry all this stuff to all these nice locations that he visits around the world.

“It is getting better and better”: Stefanos Tsitsipas

The Greek gun realized that making videos make him believe that tennis is not the most important thing in life. He loves cinematography, filmmaking, photography and improving on them day by day.

He has always shown an interest in the camera equipment that professional videographers use. However, the four-time ATP Tour champion has a great help by his side and is thankful for having a friend, who is good at editing.

He feels that the videos are improving as it’s not a vlog anymore and its almost an arthouse movie. “It is getting better and better. I want to thank one of my friends who did that. He is really good at editing,” Tsitsipas said in an interview in ATP Rotterdam.

“I come with ideas by picking the right locations at the right hour and I pretty much create the content because vlogging is you have to do something. You can’t just be in silence. So maybe one day I could consider as another career, “ he further revealed.

Why did Tsitsipas start vlogging?

There was a lot of travelling when Stefanos Tsitsipas started touring and playing professional tennis at the ATP Tour. Furthermore, he watched a lot of creators and people, who were creating nice content on YouTube.Tsitsipas also found this platform unique and the perfect place to express himself.

After inspiring from a few creators, Tsitsipas started own YouTube channel 2 years ago, where he started video blogging about travel. He gives his fans an insight into his life and travels. So far, the Greek star has a total of 1,71,000 subscribers on YouTube.
