The difference between the two popular modes of Call of Duty

COD Warzone and Black Ops Cold War use different engines and are developed by two different studios. While Raven Software takes care of Battle Royale, Treyarch runs multiplayer and Zombies. Both these games have a lot of similarities, starting with similar weapon arsenals and styles.

In terms of gameplay, even though Warzone was integrated with Black Ops Cold War following its release, it still has a lot of features from Modern Warfare. It has a much more realistic and grounded feel compared to the multiplayer modes of the franchise. Other than that, the Battle Royale mode is much slower, compared to the all-guns-blazing feel of multiplayer.

OpTic Hitch believes that pro COD players can defeat Warzone pros at their own game

Recently, OpTic content creator, Hitch tweeted that pro Warzone players should consider themselves lucky that the Call of Duty multiplayer pros are not going after their jobs. He believed that these players can easily defeat the best Battle Royale talents at their own game.

Even though both the modes are vastly different in terms of strategy, pro COD players have some special advantages. Many of them have played Call of Duty titles competitively for many years. So, they have an upper hand in terms of experience. Other than that, they have played different variants of gunplay over the years, which helps them adapt to the Warzone mechanics, even though they aren’t very different.

It would be pretty interesting to see the pros from Warzone and CDL battling it out against each other in Verdansk. While fans would take the skilled Battle Royale players to take the win, the CDL players can definitely surprise everyone with their experience. In the end, everyone would probably agree that the match would be very close.
