Fans complain about drops in Overwatch Grand Finals stream

Overwatch had promised their fans that they could earn rewards by watching the final. League tokens or drops are rewards that viewers receive for tuning in to the live stream of most events. Overwatch fans have the opportunity to receive an exclusive spray called the Tracer Mosaic if they view an hour of the finals.

Additionally, viewing the stream for two hours could earn them Home and Away Tracer skins.

Therefore, a lot of viewers tuned in today to watch the finals, many in the hopes of receiving the reward.

Yet, things are not going right with the live stream at the moment. Fans are livid as many of them do not seem to have received anything after hours of viewing the event. This has led to protests inside the live chat.

While this seems like a glitch, the spam on the chat about the injustice does not seem to be unforgiving at all. The viewership peaked upwards of 90 thousand people at a point. It is clear that a good amount of viewers have tuned in to receive the reward primarily.

The score currently stands at 4-2 in favor of the San Francisco team. Click here to watch the live stream if you are a fan of the game or wish to check out the fiasco.
