Patrick Mahomes led the Kansas City Chiefs to a 42-21 win against the Ben Roethlisberger-led Pittsburgh Steelers in the Wild Card Round. With this, the Steelers have ended their season, and also, their last dance with veteran quarterback Roethlisberger. It was not the best outcome that Ben might have wanted, but not every quarterback can end their career by running into the sunset.

The two quarterbacks were seen sharing graceful words for each other after the game. And Patrick was seen humbly muttering something to Roethlisberger as he bid him goodbye. Although humble it was Patrick himself that has ended the veteran’s career. The veteran that he had watched growing up. Certainly, the Steelers wanted to give Ben a better retirement farewell by winning the Super Bowl, yet their fate did not allow so.
