Why hasn’t Serena Williams crossed the record?

Serena is currently on 23 singles grand slam titles and is just one short of matching Margaret Court record of 24. Although Serena holds the open era record, the all-time record is still with Margaret Court. Williams hasn’t been fully fit. Serena returned to the tour in 2018 after giving birth to a girl and since then has been adapting to changes in her body. Coupled with the recurring knee injuries have hampered Serena’s training. And these blocks made her preparations far from satisfactory and hence haven’t given the desired results.

“These last 2 years, she has never been 100% physically because first she was coming back from being a mother and all the changes that happen in a woman’s body, and then, she had to face knee issues that have affected her practices and as a consequence, her physical form,” said Patrick.

Stefanos Tsitsipas Reveals What Makes Him a Winner

“People are at home and can’t watch any live sport at the moment and from the start of Coronavirus, I was wondering why the tournaments wouldn’t be played behind closed doors. For these reasons we decided to create a tennis league that would operate all year long and provides showdowns every weekend without a crowd.” Patrick explaining why he started UTS.
