Devil May Cry 5 Special Edition announced at PS5 Showcase won’t be available for PC
A Capcom spokesperson recently spoke to Eurogamer about the game’s plans for other devices. He was the bearer of bad news where he mentioned “Devil May Cry 5 Special Edition is specifically being developed and optimised to benefit the system architecture and leap in processing power offered by PS5 and Xbox Series X, so we’re focusing on these platforms,”. He also added to saying “At present, there are no plans to release DMC5SE on PC.”

The title was a huge hit among fans which makes this decision a little unfair. This decision has also seemingly invited some unfavorable responses from the fans. Although, there is a ray of hope for PC users. Capcom announced that Vergil will be available as a paid DLC.

Miscommunications by Sony in the PS5 Showcase
Sony also didn’t communicate the news about Final Fantasy 16’s exclusivity for PS5 correctly. The trailer released after the showcase said it was a console exclusive, but the showcase said it was also coming to PC. Thankfully doubt was clarified by an industry analyst shortly after.
A similar kind of miscommunication happened with Devil May Cry 5 Special Edition for the PS5. Sony never gave out any clear information, except for one tweet.
PS5 pre-orders will be available starting as early as tomorrow at select retailers.

This left the fans disappointed. Even though the Showcase was more or less successful, this was a miss on Sony’s part. Consequently, they will have to do some kind of damage control in response to this fiasco. Hopefully, they will announce a new pre-order date to avoid any further problems.
