Famed American rapper and part-owner of PFL, Wiz Khalifa sat down with Mike Bohn from MMA Junkie. The promotion returns to action at the Oceans Casino Resort in Atlantic City with regular-season lightweight and featherweight scraps. Furthermore, boxing ace Claressa Shields will make her long-anticipated MMA debut on the card.

Bohn asked Wiz Khalifa if a stint in MMA was something that he had his eye on in the future. Wiz Khalifa opened up to the possibility of competing in MMA if the right opportunity presented itself. Furthermore, he also chimed in on the current landscape of having influencers and actors crossing over into the world of combat sports.

“I definitely have interest in doing [MMA] it myself. I’m going to keep it clean as one of the owners now and I’ma just take the steps. I’m always training and if the opportunity presents itself into something that’s fun and could be good for everybody, I don’t see why not.”

“I look at them [influencers and actors] and think that it’s really entertaining and fun and I think they got a lot of ba**s for doing it. I just respect it and I love it. It doesn’t make me more angsty or anything but just for the entertaining side and for the sport side of it I love watching everything.”
