It has been over a year since Tiger Woods has played in an official tournament. Hence, his fans are eager to know when he will make a comeback. 

Woods’ caddie Joe LaCava proved to be a blessing for fans craving for news about the golfer’s return as he disclosed the possibilities of the GOAT’s comeback.

In a chat with Taylor Zarzour on Sirius XM Radio, when asked whether Tiger had ever spoken about having more moments on the golf course, LaCava said, “Yeah, 100 percent. I mean, he realizes, like he said in all the press conferences, he may not be able to play as much as he’d like to, obviously…He loves to do this more than anything, like all the guys.”

Woods, who is known for his hard-working nature, has been putting in the effort. Ever since the accident, the golfer not only had to work on his golfing skills but simple things like walking.

After the terrible car crash that severely injured his right leg, Woods has been showing a lot of improvements in terms of walking freely. Recently, a video that circulated on the internet showed that the golfer is getting better. He was fist-bumping with his fans and smiling all the way at the Genesis Invitational. 

The PNC Championship motivated Tiger Woods to make a strong comeback! 

The father-son tournament, aka the PNC Championship, was held in December 2021. While John Daly and his son John Daly II won the tournament, Tiger and his son Charlie Woods won second place. Despite being the first tournament since his accident, Woods and his son posted 13 birdies altogether.

“I think he’s willing to give it one more hard go,” said LaCava. “Maybe that father-son tournament changed the thing, gave him a little motivation.”

Although he wasn’t confident in the beginning, Woods impressed himself with the tremendous control in his play.
