He has a chance of becoming the fastest player to win four events on the Champions Tour. Phil Mickelson has three wins in four starts, and no player has secured four victories in five starts.

Hence, if Mickelson can register a win this week, then he will become the first player in the history of golf to win four events in five starts on the Champions Tour. Meanwhile, the current fastest to four wins is Jack Nicklaus in six starts, and Gary Player did the same in eight events while Arnold Palmer, Loren Roberts, and Lee Trevino did it in nine starts. 

Furthermore, four wins in five starts has never been done on the PGA Tour either. Hence, if Phil secures a victory this week, he will create a massive record in golf.
