“I really enjoyed it for sure in the beginning,” he said. “This stuff was hilarious. I was playing with some guys at the Memorial when the Brooksy thing first began. Seeing him harassed is not funny, but I mean, when I saw the whole video come out, I was like, wow, Brooks is really going at this guy.”

However, after a while, Max said, this proved exhausting for tour pros because the origins of this feud confused them. No one really knew the exact reason for this rivalry. “This week is good. I think it was getting a little drawn out and played out,” Homa said. “Just because none of us gets it. I don’t get it. I was just lost. And I don’t like being lost.”

Furthermore, they asked Homa whether this feud was all a publicity stunt for PIP Fund and for “The Match,” a 12-hole game between Bryson and Brooks. “I mean, if that’s what they were doing, respect. SUPER respect for Bryson for dealing with all of this,” Homa said.
