Adam Sandler Responds With Hilarious Tweet After Will Zalatoris Embraced ‘Happy Gilmore’ Caddie Comparisons

Life is going good for  24-year-old Will Zalatoris as he’s enjoying his Masters debut. Meanwhile, fans were quick to notice that Zalatoris’ facial appearances resemble that of the caddie’s from Adam Sandler’s movie ‘Happy Gilmore.’ Furthermore, Sandler himself posted a tweet and gave a shoutout to Zalatoris for the uncanny looks. 

For fans who need a memory refresher, the 1996 Happy Gilmore movie is considered one of the greatest in Adam Sandler’s legendary carrer. Sandler has a caddie who accompanies him in the movie, and the recent buzz is that Zalatoris is exactly his doppelganger!

While fans were all about the comparisons on Twitter, Adam Sandler increased the hype by posting a hilarious tweet comparing the movie’s caddie and Will Zalatoris. 

Jared Van Snellenberg is the actor who appeared as Happy Gilmore’s caddie in the movie, and his presence would be registered on the minds of golf fans for his character plot! However, here’s a clip that perfectly captures why he’s trending all of a sudden:

One can notice that the caddie’s blonde locks and some of the facial structures match Zalatoris’ appearance. Moreover, Adam Sandler reached out to the American golfer through the internet and rendered a message to his former caddie! 

“Have fun today young man. Mr. Gilmore is watching you and very proud,” Sandler wrote in excitement, as Will Zalatoris stands at second place in his debut Masters tournament.

The whole world is impressed with how the Wake Forest alum can strike the ball, and he has a real chance of winning at Augusta.

Will Zalatoris is embracing the comparisons with a special touch

Will Zalatoris has been a sport and he’s quite pleased about the humor thrown at him. The California native engraved a special message on his lob wedge.

Zalatoris etched the words, “Mr. Gilmore, I’m your caddy,” from the movie on his Titleist Vokey Wedge Works lob wedge, and showcased his way of embracing the comparisons.
