Bryson DeChambeau reveals he was about to quit golf
During the pre-round press conference of the 2021 Hero World Challenge, Bryson talked with the media. He said, “There was a point in time, and I am not kidding where I just felt like I wanted to leave the game.” Meanwhile, the 28-year-old had plenty of controversies throughout the year.

I can walk away and be totally fine the rest of my life, be happy and go hit the long ball and call it a day.” However, he found support from the Hollywood actor Chris Pratt.
Pratt advised Bryson to not let people define him. “He told me when I am out on the golf course, people are going to define you and relate you to the golf. What really defines you is the person you are outside the game of golf. You’ve got to look at it as an opportunity to show people who you truly are.”
