Max Homa is one of the most prominent names on the PGA Tour. The 30-year-old golfer recently won his third PGA Tour trophy at the Fortinet Championship. He carded -7 on the final and remained -19 to lift his first trophy of the season. Furthermore, he is currently competing at the CJ Cup and is T15 after round one. 

Moreover, he is known for his social media wittiness. He also constantly engages with the fans, especially on Twitter. Meanwhile, recently he made a tweet comparing a baseball player with a golfer. Let’s see what has he tweeted.

Max Homa compares Brusdar Graterol with Cameron Champ

Max Homa recently made a cross-sport comparison on Twitter. He compared Brusdar Graterol, a baseball pitcher for Los Angeles, with the PGA Tour pro Cameron Champ. He said, “Graterol is Cameron Champ. Looks effortless, and the thing is a damn rocket.” Moreover, he also added a hashtag called CrossSportAnalogy.

Meanwhile, he made this comparison because of Graterol’s ability to throw effortless curveballs at 80 miles. While Cameron Champ, who is an Australian golfer, is known for his effortless bombs off the tee. Champ, even though doesn’t put much effort into his shots but still carries it around 300 yards with ease. Hence, it’s not only Homa, but many people have justified this comparison.

Graterol is one of the most famous pitchers in baseball, and he recently won a game for Los Angeles Dodgers at the MLB. Moreover, Cameron Champ ranked second in the longest drive for the 2021 PGA Tour season. He bombed a 424 yards drive and remained just one yard short of Lee Westwood, who is at 425. Moreover, Champ also ranked third in the driving distance for the 2021 PGA Tour season, with an average drive of 317.1 yards.
