Nowadays, people think that the PGA Tour’s career earnings list determines the relative success of a player’s career. And while it showcases a player’s success as Tiger Woods, with 82 PGA Tour wins, is at the top of that list. It is not always the case, for example, with Jack Nicklaus as he is in the 314th position even after 73 PGA Tour wins.

Moreover, if we see in the modern era, there are plenty of golfers who have earned $10 million without winning a single PGA Tour. So let us have a look at the top 5 players who have more than $10 million in earnings without winning a single event on the PGA Tour.

Five players who have more than $10 million as career earnings without winning an event

1. Tommy Fleetwood – ($10,940,624)

Tommy Fleetwood is one of the most prominent names in the golfing world. A five-time winner on the European Tour is still searching for his first PGA Tour trophy. In 88 starts till the 2020-21 season, Fleetwood has 19 top-10 finishes.

Moreover, two of his four runner-up finishes have come in a major championship, which has given him a huge boost in crossing the $10 million mark. 

2. Jeff Overton – ($12,790,635)

Overton’s maximum earning came in the 2010 season, where he had three runner-up finishes and a pair of thirds. Furthermore, he even had a runner-up finish in the 2007 Wyndham Championship.

3. Briny Baird – ($13,251,178)

Briny Baird had a 15-year career where he teed it up 379 times on the PGA Tour with 243 cuts. Moreover, he even had 31 top-10 finishes and six runner-up finishes, which brought him all the money in his career.

4. Brian Davis – ($13,374,228)

In the span of just nine years from 2006 to 2015, Brian Davis averaged 30 starts, including an impressive 34 in 2008. He earned five second-place finishes, all of which came in between 2007-2010.

5. Cameron Tringale – ($14,324,818)

Cameron Tringale has been grinding it out in the PGA Tour but hasn’t managed to win a trophy yet. His career-best season came in 2020-21 PGA Tour season where he had two top-three finishes and four top-10 finishes.

Meanwhile, he is currently just a stroke behind the lead, going into the final round of the Sanderson Farms Championship.

So, these were a few players who have earned more than $10 million as career money. But they haven’t won a single trophy on the PGA Tour as of now.
