Golf Fans Express Outrage Over Recent EA Sports PGA Tour Announcement

EA Sports PGA Tour had recently announced the new releasing date for their new Next Generation game. And the golf world is not happy as the company would’ve expected it to be.

The officials disclosed that the Next Generation game will be released in the 2023 Spring season. They took to their official Twitter page to announce the news.

The new game is designed for golf fans to virtually build their career as a golfer. According to their official website, the game would provide the opportunities to play all the major championships of the PGA Tour. It would also give the chance to compete in different PGA events, like all three legs of the FedExCup Playoffs and THE PLAYERS Championship.

The additional features include being able to play at the LPGA, U. S. Amateur Championship, and Korn Ferry Tour events. From Augusta National to Pebble Beach, the game would allow the user to play in their favorite golf courses.

The golf fans have been waiting for a long time since the game was announced in 2021. According to EA’s last update, the game was supposed to release in the Spring of 2022. However, it has now been postponed to the next Spring, and the fans are not happy with the decision.

Fans’ reaction to the latest tweet of EA Sports PGA Tour 

Since the release of the game is now postponed to next year, many golf fans had a negative response to the news. One of them replied, “Big delay considering it was meant to be April 2022.” 

Some fans were surprised to see how the officials informed the public about the delay in a subtle way. One of them wrote, “Lol, the game is delayed for a year and this is how you let people know?”

While most fans shared their disappointment in the delay of the game release, some took extra measures and asked for more features.

Although most of the golf fans were upset, some were thankful to EA Sports for bringing the new game.
