Woods gasped his breath watching it from the hospital and later chipped in his expertise about the shot to Thomas. While the ball had landed on the fairway, Woods was confident that it wasn’t an ideal shot from his compatriot.

“We’re just talking like we always do but he told me that I toed my tee shot on 18 which I didn’t. I hit it right in the middle. I just overturned it a little bit, but he’s adamant that I toed it. But I made sure to remind him that I didn’t it was right where I needed to be,” Thomas mentioned about Woods.

Justin Thomas responded this way when a reporter asked if he still engages in banters with Tiger Woods. A one-stroke victory was enough for Thomas to seal the win, and most importantly give Woods a sense of positivity.
