The 2021-22 PGA Tour season has begun and the Fortinet Championship served as the magnificent season opener. As the season has got moving, it is time for the next event on the calendar. The tour is now moving to Jackson, Mississippi, for the Sanderson Farms Championship 2021. Here’s everything you need to know ahead of Round 1.

Sergio Garcia is the defending champion at the event as he won in 2020 with a one-stroke lead over Peter Malnati. Garcia returns to the Country Club of Jackson to defend his title and is the only Ryder Cup participant competing at the tournament.

As for the Round 1 weather report, it is expected to be cloudy and humid in Jackson, Mississippi, coupled with a group of showers. Wind gusts will blow at a high of 15 km/h, while there is a four-hour rain prediction. The temperature during the day will reach a high of 28°, and night it will drop to a low of 21°.
