The Travelers Championship is the current tournament taking center stage on the PGA Tour. The event is headed into moving day after a thrilling conclusion to Round 2. A lot of famous names missed the cut and failed to qualify for the weekend. Here’s everything you need to know ahead of Round 3 on Saturday.

Australian golfer Jason Day soared to the 36-hole lead after an excellent performance in Round 2. Day shot his lowest career round at the Travelers Championship on Friday and it helped him gain 44 spots on the leaderboard.
There are two players tied for the second spot one stroke behind Jason Day. One is three-time Travelers Championship winner Bubba Watson, and the other is 29-year-old Kramer Hickok, who is still searching for his first tour victory.

Day is 9-under after two rounds, while Watson and Hickok are 8-under. There are seven players who are T4 on the leaderboard at 7-under for the tournament. Moving day will see a lot of adjustments at TPC River Highlands.
