Jordan Spieth Announces Huge Multi-Year Partnership With American Company
As Jordan Spieth readies himself for the FedExCup playoffs, he is also all set for a new partnership. According to recent announcements, the three-time major winner is now a part of the FanDuel team, becoming the first PGA Tour professional to do so. FanDuel is reportedly USA’s No. 1 Sportsbook and has signed an exclusive multi-year deal with Spieth.
With this deal, FanDuel will be Spieth’s exclusive sports betting partner from now on. They are already tied up with the PGA Tour as an official betting partner. “As the world of legal sports betting grows rapidly in the U.S, I’m incredibly excited about what’s happening in the space and the potential it has to bring new fans to the sport of golf,” Spieth said. “As the PGA Tour and others in the golf world have strongly embraced legalized sports gaming, I look forward to working with FanDuel to find unique ways to engage the fast-growing fanbase”.

What does Jordan Spieth’s new partnership entail?
Along with being his exclusive betting partner, Spieth will now appear in national TV commercials. He will also be there on their golf products, while the 28-year-old will also need to work on social media content and other initiatives. An added perk will have FanDuel supporting the Jordan Spieth Family Foundation.
FanDuel’s Chief Marketing Officer, Mike Raffensperger, spoke about golf being popular on their site, while they look to engage and promote their growing golf base. “As one of the most universally admired golfers at the top of his game, Jordan Spieth is a perfect fit for our first official golf partner and the face of golf at FanDuel”.

The company recognizes Spieth as a global star and is eager to work with him. At 19, Jordan Spieth was the youngest to win a PGA Tour event in 82 years at the John Deere Classic in 2013. He won the Masters and the US Open in 2015, and the Open Championship in 2017. While currently playing the Northern Trust, he has had nine top 10 finishes this season including his Valero Texas Open win.

Spieth too showed his excitement on Twitter. “Big things ahead,” he wrote in a tweet that sharing a post that welcomed him to the FanDuel team. Of course, fans supported the venture, some already downloading the app for him.
