Patrick Reed No Longer a Free Agent: Here’s the Company That Has Signed Him for 2022

Equipment is one of the most imperative things in golf. And every golfer has his sponsor who provides them all the clubs. However, there are a few players who are still free agents, which means they do not have any sponsors for their equipment. Meanwhile, Patrick Reed is one of those players.  

However, according to a few reports, Patrick Reed isn’t a free agent anymore, as he has signed a deal with a leading golf manufacturing company. Meanwhile, recently even Brooks Koepka signed a deal with Srixon and ended his long term as a free agent. So similarly, Patrick Reed is mostly following in the same footsteps.

Patrick Reed signs a deal with PXG

According to Jonathan Wall, Patrick Reed has signed a deal with PXG, which is one of the most leading golf manufacturing companies. He wrote, “PXG representative just confirmed what some were already wondering. Patrick Reed is going to be a PXG staffer for 2022. More details to come.”

Meanwhile, he made this tweet, but the details for the same are still awaited. Moreover, there is no official confirmation of this news from PXG or Reed. However, we will get to know about this soon as Reed will be competing at the 2022 Sentry Tournament of Champions.

But it will be interesting to see if he goes with the PXG clubs or his usual one for this event. Meanwhile, PXG has some prominent names under them, like Zach Johnson, Pat Perez, Jason Kokrak, and Joel Dahmen. And most probably, Patrick Reed will join them and become the face of this golf equipment manufacturing company.

So Patrick Reed will be hopeful of starting the new year on a high note. He had a decent 2021 with just one PGA Tour win. Hence, to get off to a winning start this year, he needs to perform against the best players of 2021 like Patrick Cantlay, Collin Morikawa, and others. Meanwhile, what do you think?
