The 2021 Valspar Championship has brought back all the excitement into town. It is the last stop on the PGA Tour’s Florida Swing and the tournament follows a fun tradition. The caddies are given nicknames on their bibs and some golfers tend to get super creative with the names!

The Valspar Championship is one of the most exciting tournaments on the calendar, and this proves just why. Every caddie on the field will be wearing a bib that contains a nickname on it. For this tournament alone, the caddies will have to embrace their alternate names!

Kris Ventura is one of the players who perfected the nickname game. His wordplay creativity led to his caddie wearing “Ace Ventura,” on the back of his bib. Likewise, defending champion Paul Casey’s caddie John McLaren is wearing “Popeye” on the back of his bib as a reference to Casey’s forearms.

So far, Mark Hubbard’s caddie Kyle Peters is the undisputed winner of the challenge. Peters has the phrase “Kick me” printed on the back of his bib which is hilarious indeed. Similarly, Sung Kang’s caddie Philip Lowe is wearing a “Kangsta” bib.
