Power Rankings: AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am

The 2022 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am is all set to begin on February 3rd, 2022, at Pebble Beach, California. Given that the 2022 PGA Tour has had a captivating start so far, hopefully, we will see a similar performance this week as well.

Notably, the 2022 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am is one of the intriguing events on the PGA Tour. We get to see top pros and celebrities from different fields competing for 72 holes. Hence, this is one of the most well-known golf events. But sadly, the field this year is deprived of some top players as most of them are competing at the Saudi International.

Since other top players who aren’t competing in Saudi have decided to rest, we won’t see many star pros in the field at Pebble Beach this week. However, from those available, who do you think are the top contenders to lift the trophy?

Jordan Spieth is probably the leading pro golfer in the field this week. Hence, he is without a doubt one of the top contenders to lift the trophy on Sunday. Since the wedge play around the greens is going to be crucial for this week, Spieth is one of the favorites as he is one of the best when it comes to the game around the greens.

4. Will Zalatoris

Will Zalatoris is currently in great form. He narrowly missed out on a victory last week, and hence he will be determined to do well this week. So if Zalatoris can putt decently, then he will have a great chance of winning the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am.

3. Jason Day

Another player who is back in form is Australia’s Jason Day. The former World No.1 had the lead going into the final round. But he couldn’t cross the finish line when it mattered the most. However, the way he performed last week, Jason is surely in contention for this time around.

2. Daniel Berger

The defending champion of the event, Daniel Berger, loves playing on these courses. His game more or less suits these types of courses which will be used at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am. Hence, he will be hopeful of retaining the trophy himself.

1. Patrick Cantlay

Patrick Cantlay is currently having a dream run on the PGA Tour. However, he hasn’t won an event in 2022 yet, and hence, this could be the week where he will lift his first trophy of 2022.
