After an unscheduled Monday finish at the Northern Trust 2021, the FedExCup playoffs move to the BMW Championship. This Championship is the second FedExCup playoff event which is all set to begin on August 26th. Moreover, the Caves Valley Golf Club in Owings Mills, Maryland, will host the event.

Meanwhile, only the top 70 players from the FedExCup will be playing at this event. And then, out of these 70, only the top 30 will make it to the final Tour Championship. Moreover, this is a no-cut event, so all 70 players will have a chance to go into the weekend. BMW Championship is said to be one of the toughest events on the PGA Tour. So players will have a hard time out there.

Meanwhile, the defending champion Jon Rahm is looking all set to retain the trophy with him. Last year he had a win in a playoff against Dustin Johnson as both these players shared the lead after 72 holes with a score of -4.
