Nonetheless, the event is bringing out the same amount of excitement in golf fans. Team USA is all set to battle Europe in this prestigious 12-member tournament, and fashion company Ralph Lauren is commemorating the event with a spectacular lookbook for the American golfers. 

Outfits have always been a major attraction in golf. When it comes to team events like the Ryder Cup, it becomes essential for the Americans and the Europeans to stand out with their attire. There have been plenty of eye-catching designs in the past, and Ralph Lauren recently unveiled some stunning designs that will be worn by the American golfers at Ryder Cup 2020. 

Ralph Lauren releases uniforms for Team USA

The Americans have not played well in the Ryder Cup in the recent past. They have racked up an embarrassing record, and it’s about time they go out and change that. This year’s team is looking mighty solid, even though six more players are yet to be added to the squad. 

Ahead of Steve Stricker making his six captain’s picks, Ralph Lauren unveiled its lookbook for Team USA at Ryder Cup 2020. The fits are amazing and assistant captain Davis Love III also majestically posed for a couple of pictures in the new uniform. 

“The captains and players just want to play. It’s time,” said Love. “These pieces are meant to be worn time and time again, not just for one weekend out of the year,” he added.

Team USA golfers will wear specific attire on each day of the Ryder Cup

This is the fourth consecutive Ryder Cup where Ralph Lauren is serving as the USA’s official outfitter. Their attire is not only catered for the players, but for the caddies, spouses, and partners as well. 

On day one of Ryder Cup 2020, the golfers will be wearing an RLX Course Polo combined with navy blue pants. Friday will have them wearing similar attire, but with the polo containing red horizontal stripes. 

The golfers will be wearing polos and Cypress pants on both Saturdays and Sundays, but intricate design changes will make each attire stand out. The players will also be wearing a sweater on Sunday with their names customized at the back. 

Ralph Lauren has really put incredible efforts into creating outfits for Ryder Cup 2020. They’ve also designed inclement-weather outfits in case the conditions get tricky in Wisconsin.
