Rickie Fowler had an excellent CJ Cup last week as he finished T3 in Vegas. He dominated the event from day one but unfortunately couldn’t finish the event on the final day as Rory McIlroy won it with a score of -25. Moreover, Fowler finally looked like getting his game together after a couple of disappointing seasons. Now, Rickie Fowler will be competing at the ZOZO Championship in Japan.

Meanwhile, after his exceptional performance, legendary golfer Jack Nicklaus applauded Rickie Fowler. Recently, in the pre-round press conference, Fowler responded to Jack’s comments.

Moreover, he said that Jack has been very encouraging, not just to him but to even other South Florida golfers.

“He’s been very encouraging over the years and the times that I’ve gotten to spend with him. So to get a kind of stamp of approval or Jack’s encouraging words is definitely, it’s always nice. But Jack and Barbara have been amazing to everyone that plays golf but definitely the guys and, you know, wives and girlfriends of the people that live down in South Florida. They’re kind of like the mom and dad of the South Florida group.”
