The Shriners Hospitals For Children Open is the third event of the 2021-22 PGA Tour season, with many top players taking up the field first time this season. Meanwhile, TPC Summerlin is the host for the event and is one of the most straightforward courses on the Tour with a combined par of 72.

This event was first played in 1983 and had one of the highest prize purses during its initial years. There are 144-players on the field this week, with 27 of the top 50 rankings competing. Furthermore, the golfers will be playing for a $7 million purse, with the winner getting the highest share.

Scottie Scheffler was one of the captain’s picks for the Ryder Cup, despite being a non-winner on the PGA Tour. However, he had a great Ryder Cup as he delivered a 2-0-1 record and had a win over the world no.1 Jon Rahm in Sunday singles.

Kevin Na has an excellent record at this venue and event. He is a two-time champ at this event in 2011 and 2019. Moreover, Na also has a runner-up finish in 2015, and in his last seven starts has posted six top 25s with a P2, a T2. 

2. Sam Burns

Sam Burns, the winner of the 2021 Sanderson Farms Championship, will be looking to get back-to-back victories on the Tour. In the last seven months, Sam Burns has had two triumphs, two runner-ups, and seven top 10s.

In his first season as a full-time PGA Tour member, Zalatoris will be looking to get a win under his belt after giving two impressive performances. He finished T11 and T14 in the first two events of the 2021-22 PGA Tour season.

Moreover, he even set a course record last week at Country Club Jackson with a score of 61 in the second round. Meanwhile, he even has a T5 finish in this event last season as a rookie.
