According to Golf Digest, Justin Thomas started dreaming of making it to the PGA Tour after attending Tiger Woods’ win in the 2000 PGA at Valhalla. Back then, Justin was just 7-years old, but the impact that Tiger’s performance had on him was incredible. Notably, it also states that JT has a VHS tape of that tournament, and he has watched it over 50 times.

He says it motivated him to put in the work and make it to the same stage one day. Undoubtedly, Justin can be proud as he has not only made it to the PGA Tour but is also one of the top players currently in the world. 

Speaking of the past, Tiger Woods had an incredible time as he remained -18 for that event. However, Bob May chased him and finished with the same score. But in the playoffs, Tiger made sure that he didn’t let go of his chance and won his third major championship.
