The U.S. Open has returned to its original spot on the calendar. The tournament begins on June 17 and is headed for a Father’s Day finish on Sunday. The tournament once again returns to San Diego, California, as it is behind hosted at Torrey Pines (south course) in 2021. As a tribute, Nike has planned to release a trio of golf shoes during the 2021 U.S. Open week.

Torrey Pines is a famed golf course in California. It is the regular host of the Farmers Insurance Open on the PGA Tour and is well known for the 2008 U.S. Open too. As the major championship once again returns to California, and to Torrey Pines, Nike has planned a special surprise for golf fans!

What are the shoes that come with Nike’s ‘Torrey Pack’ for the 2021 U.S. Open?

Nike holds a major share of the market when it comes to golf cleats. As the 2021 U.S. Open is the most talked about event at the moment, the company decided to do something special for all the fans.

What’s more enticing is that the new “Torrey Pack” contains an Air Jordan colorway, along with two other models. The shoes that are a part of the pack are the Air Jordan IV G, Air Max 90 G, and Air Zoom Infinity Tour.

The Air Zoom Infinity Tour and Air Max 90 G both come in attractive colorways. The Air Zoom Infinity is probably one of  Nike’s best designs in recent times. Next, the Nike Air Max 90 G NRG also sports a similar sail-colored look as a tribute to the California Coastline. The design is also filled with inspirations from Torrey Pines and comes in a spikeless model. The shoe also has a special in-sole design for the 2021 U.S. Open.

The Air Jordan IV G stands out from the pack

The Air Jordan IV G is probably a beloved shoe among golf fans. The spectacular design has now been given a new look ahead of the 2021 U.S. Open. Named “Teal Purple” the colorway comes with a mixture of purple, teal, and black on the upper.

It is made of ripstop material and the inspiration behind the colorway is from OG Air Jordan flight suits. The shoe has removable spikes and the product design also resembles the colors of hang gliders and parasailers in the Cali coastline. 

The Nike Golf “Torrey Pack” has two different release dates. The Air Zoom Infinity Tour and Air Max 90 dropped on June 14, while the Air Jordan IV G will release on June 16. All of these shoes can be purchased from Nike’s website, and the price range will vary from $150-$220.
