While the 2021 Masters is already gaining all the attention, the Valero Texas Open is subtly headed towards an exciting finish. The 99th edition of the tournament is through three rounds and the golfers are preparing for a highly competitive Round 4 at TPC San Antonio.
The layout at TPC San Antonio (Oaks Course) is a joy to play around with, and the field has already experienced several highs and lows at the venue this year. As Sunday beckons, here’s how the leaderboard stands at the Valero Texas Open 2021.
Englishman Matt Wallace gained a place and shot a 5-under 67 to climb atop the leaderboard. However, he is not alone as Jordan Spieth displayed tremendous resiliency by matching Wallace’s performance in Round 3.

Wallace and Spieth are joint leaders with a score of 12-under par after three rounds. 36-hole leader Cameron Tringale has fallen down to fourth place after he shot 1-over par on Saturday.

Second-placed Charley Hoffman is just two strokes behind the leaders and will attempt to make a last-minute surge on Sunday. Furthermore, Hoffman will tee-off with 54-hole leaders Wallace and Spieth at 1:02 p.m from the 1st tee.
