Chesson Hadley scores an exceptional ace at the Wyndham Championship

Chesson Hadley scored an amazing hole-in-one on the 175 yards par-3, 16th hole. He flushed his 7-iron from the tee box, and the ball flew over the flagstick and rolled back perfectly to get back in the hole. The backspin that he got on the ball was the result of an excellent contact and a divot after the impact.

Moreover, Chesson Hadley celebrated the ace in a style as he jumped around in excitement and hugged his caddie. Additionally, this was Chesson’s first-ever hole-in-one on the PGA Tour. This achievement came into the perfect hole as there was a Wyndham reward of 1,000,000 points for charity.

Meanwhile, Chesson currently shares the 16th position and is five strokes behind the leader. He is -6 thru back nine as he teed off from the 10th tee. Hadley scored five birdies, an ace, and a bogey to get himself in contention. He complimented the hole-in-one with a birdie on the very next hole to go -10 for the event.

So, with a similar front nine performance, Chesson can think of getting right up there with the leaders. But since it is the final day and almost everyone is making a move on the leaderboard, it is not going to be an easy task for Chesson Hadley. However, he will still be hoping for at least a top 10 finish.
