Rick Gehman, the founder of RickRunGood.com, and First Cut Podcast, recently reported about a moment that Justin Thomas and fellow pro Michael Visacki shared at the Colonial Country Club. The latter had just earned his second tour start at the Charles Schwab Challenge, but unfortunately missed the cut after 36-holes.

Missing the cut meant that Viscaki wouldn’t be treated to a payout at the Charles Schwab Challenge. It undoubtedly messed with his confidence, as his PGA Tour future is lingering in uncertainty.

But that’s where Justin Thomas rose above everything else and lifted Viscaki’s spirits. 28-year-old Thomas met with Visacki after his missed cut and offered him an undisclosed amount of money to help pursue his dream.

Thomas won the internet with his generous act. It is moments like these that help athletes rediscover their confidence and help them get back on the grind. The video clip also shows the raw emotions of Visacki after receiving help from Thomas. Golf is a wonderful sport indeed!
