The 2022 WM Phoenix Open is currently underway at the TPC Scottsdale. It is an iconic event in golf, even though this is a non-major tournament. The atmosphere is noisy and very football-like, especially on the 16th hole, where fans can’t hold themselves whenever a player arrives at the tee box.

Moreover, the fans, cheers, and everything on the 16th hole shows us a very different side of golf. We usually experience silence when a player is about to hit a shot. But here it is different as the crowd keeps on making noise and the atmosphere is worth watching.

There are huge stands built around the 16th hole that can host more than 200,000 fans at a time. Notably, the hole is 163 yards par-3, and they can stretch it up to 170 yards by changing the hole locations and tee box position. However, what makes it challenging is the fans watching from the stands.
