A famous athlete herself, Allison Stokke was born in California and had immense interest in and skill in pole vaulting. She received an athletic scholarship to study sociology at the University of California, Berkeley. Following her success at the collegiate level, Stokke continued to work her way up the sport but unfortunately could not make it to the United States team in the 2012 London Olympics. After a couple of years, the aspiring pole vaulter became a model for Nike and Athleta.

The athlete duo were first captured together in 2017 at a MotoGP event in Texas. The couple has made appearances on the PGA Tour and also played the Masters par-3 contest together in 2022. Moreover, they went ahead to declare their love for each other and exchanged rings in June 2018, leading to a quick development of their relationship following this.

The couple went ahead and tied the knot in October 2019. Recounting the proposal event, the model in 2020 told Vogue about the sweet memory. She mentioned how, at the 2018 US Open, the couple flew up to Southampton for a few days with their friend and golfer Justin Thomas.

The athlete reminisced about how they were the only people at the beach at the end of the day, which prompted Fowler to ask JT to take some pictures. “After a couple of photos, I looked over, and Rickie was down on one knee with a big smile on his face,”, said Stokke as she happily remembered the fond memory. Since then, they have enjoyed a joyous life together. Their happy life was blessed with the news of a baby girl in 2021, when they welcomed their daughter named Maya.

Stokke might not be pole-vaulting anymore, but the loving companion has had an immense role in the golfer’s success and his re-emergence in 2023.
