“I am the most boring spender ever”: Serena William

The 23-time Grand Slam champion reveals that she likes to spend smart when it comes to money. Williams admits she finds it hard to treat herself as she is a boring spender. However, the American is planning to get herself some new accessories this year.

“I don’t spend money but when I do it’s on my daughter. I usually invest my funds. I am the most boring spending ever,” said Williams in an interview with the people.com.

She further added: “I am really bad at treating myself, so I am learning how to treat myself more. I am working on it. I’ve thought about some jewellery.”

“Don’t spend it, invest it”, advises the 38-year-old.

Serena Williams 2020 season

Williams will commence her 2020 season at the ASB Classic in New Zealand, which is scheduled between 6th and 12th January. Williams is the top-seeded player in the singles draw of the WTA International event.

Williams will also pair up with Caroline Wozniacki for the first time in her career on the doubles court. While Serena’s last WTA tournament in doubles without Venus was in 2002, Wozniacki hasn’t played doubles for more than three years.
