There’s always a space for young talent in Formula 1. And among the interesting names around happens to be that of Red Bull’s Pierre Gasly. Last year, there was a lot of talk about the things that the promising Frenchman could do once the switch to Red Bull would transpire.

Now that this has happened, what’s up with the 23-year-old Red Bull driver from Rouen, France?

It appears that all’s not well with Pierre Gasly, who seems to be having some problems with Red Bull where latest reports and news pieces stand.

So what’s gone wrong for the Red Bull driver, who, only a few days back scored his first points for the Christian Horner-led side at Bahrain’s Sakhir. At a track where much of the attention was with Leclerc and Hamilton and for obvious reasons, it was the presence of young talents like Max and Gasly that scored some useful points for Red Bull.

The Frenchman scored a fighting P8 and thus drove home 4 points for Red Bull. It appears that the French driver hasn’t been too happy as far as his results from Australia and Bahrain stand. Remember it was at the season-opener at Melbourne, where Gasly failed to finish inside top-ten.

Yet, interestingly, it was teammate Max Verstappen who scored a fighting third, just behind Mercedes’ Lewis Hamilton.

And the above told, it’s not so difficult to understand why Pierre Gasly has called out Red Bull for a sense of direction that he so desperately lacks as evident from the two races contested thus far.

“I need to find some direction with the set-up and see how the engineers can help me to make it feel more suitable to my driving.”

It remains to be seen what Gasly, someone who doesn’t have tremendous experience in the sport can do in the upcoming races. For starters, can he score his first Red Bull podium?
