The mighty American, who is pushing her limits and literally destroying everyone in her path is all set to achieve yet another career-high by holding the Wimbledon trophy on July 11.

Serena Williams, the 20-time Grand Slam champion is looking invincible at the moment. She has already conquered New York, Melbourne and Paris and now sets her eyes to not only hold all the slams at one time, but also move a step closer to the coveted calendar slam.

But is there anyone on the circuit who can stop this gigantic force in the coming two weeks? Or will she yet again crush everyone – including her the elder Williams who might face Serena in the fourth round – to her way to glory. It might not be an impossible task, so who are most likely to make Serena sweat.

The Canadian Bouchard can prove to be a stern test for the American. The strong hitting of Bouchard might well hold firm against the powerful groundstrokes of Williams. The only thing about this young talent is that she’s low on confidence and in not so good touch like she was last year, when she ended up being the runner-up.

The biggest serve in WTA can knock anyone out, even if you’re the great Serena Williams. Sabine Lisicki defeated Williams in 2013 at the same venue and is one you can bet on (if at all you had to) to repeat that this year. She’s in great touch and can very well stretch Williams to 3 sets, if at all they happen to meet.

Simona Halep, the promising Romanian is one to watch out for. After her disappointing show at Paris, she’s all set to revive her campaign and can very well take Serena out- she’d obviously need some help from the American too.

The biggest threat, let’s just say the toughest match Serena can play this Wimbledon will be against the defending champion and world no. 2 Petra Kvitova. The crafty and calm left hander loves this stage and if you’re not a Serena fan you can very well cheer for this lady to go all the way!

The ‘Serena Slam’ is certainly on the cards, but who’d have thought that Stan would beat Novak few weeks back. Tennis can be uncertain and a harsh affair- not even the finest of the games are guaranteed a silverware every single time!
