Marvel’s Avengers will still be playable on the Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5, although it will run in compatibility mode. This means that it won’t be able to properly utilize the console’s power. Once the game’s optimized version is launched in 2021, players will notice the difference themselves.

A new Avenger will also appear in the game in 2021, and it is most likely going to be Spider-Man, who is a PlayStation exclusive.
