After years of waiting, fans of the Uncharted series finally have something to talk about. The iconic PlayStation franchise has garnered a massive fan following for the series’ four mainline titles. The Naughty Dog developed series follows the storyline of legendary treasure hunter Nathan Drake, and it looks like fans might finally see him return soon.

During the long-awaited PlayStation Showcase, the developers finally revealed a trailer for an upcoming remastered collection. Along with its entry into the generation of consoles with the PS5, players will also see the franchise’s first foray into PC as well.

Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection to arrive on PC and PlayStation 5

The event gave fans their first glimpse at Nathan Drake with some amazing visuals. Players can finally play as him again in the remastered version of the series’ fourth game in Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End. Along with that, the collection titled Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves will also contain the game’s expansion called The Lost Legacy as well.

The collection will release for the PlayStation 5 and PC in early 2022, which doesn’t seem that far away. Fans also need to know that the PC version will arrive a bit after the release of the PS5 variant as it will be developed by Iron Galaxy.

The gaming community is excited about the return of Chloe Frazer and Nathan Drake

Fans of the series couldn’t believe it when PlayStation and Naughty Dog broke the news today. The collection might not include the entire series. But this is still something fans have waited to see for a long time. A Thief’s End gave one of the best farewells in gaming history to Nathan Drake, with fans and critics liking it a lot. Along with that, Chloe Frazer also received a massive boost with the expansion in the Lost Legacy, and the community has begged for a sequel as well.

Additionally, fans took to Twitter to showcase their hype for the upcoming collection. Many fans loved to hear that Nathan Drake would finally make a well-deserved appearance in the PS5 games library. However, many of them were happy about the series finally arriving on PC.

For the longest of time, fans have waited for PlayStation to make some of their games available to PC users, and this might be the first major series releasing on the PC.

In the end, it seems like fans can’t wait to try this iconic title when it releases next year. It remains to be seen if Naughty Dog will ever release another mainline title. However, if they don’t then both Nathan Drake and Chloe Frazer will continue their journey on the PS5 through this remaster.
