PlayStation Updates on In-Store Limited Time Restock
New PS5 stocks are back in Target and Meijer now! Sony has released its latest PS5, but unlike the previous restocks, these are limited to in-store purchases only. Target surprised its customers with two editions of the console- the standard PS5 stocks and the digital version of the console.
Meijer, on their official Twitter handle, gave news on the availability of PS5s restocks yesterday. Although there have been no clarifications yet, they stated that the most awaited restocks “is coming soon in stores only.” It can be presumed that Meijer’s restocks will be opened to public by the end of this week itself.

Has your local Target or Meijer restocked the Ps5?
Meijer, on their Twitter, did not clarify if they would alert their customers on the social media once the PS5 console restocks go live. However, they asked the buyers to look for the “Restock Alert!” sign outside their stores.

Target’s restocks might have depleted, but they have not officially confirmed anything as of now. But if your local Target never got restocked, that means you are out of luck. The in-store consoles are available in most Target stores, but unfortunately not all.

Sony has not specified to PlayStation fans on which other major retailers the PS5 restocks will be available. Except Target and Meijer, no other retailer has published any word regarding the restock this week either.
But that could also be because retailers like GameStop, Best Buy, and others have been silent on their socials for quiet a while now.

Hopefully, this might change when the restocks are available in the other stores too. The PS5 restock crisis is making PlayStation fans very impatient lately, let’s hope Sony will figure out the sales sooner.
