Owing to his residence in Brighton, PewDiePie could not get his hands on the PlayStation 5 as it released on November 12 in some parts of the world. Sony’s console released in the United Kingdom on November 19, and the world’s biggest YouTuber has unboxed it already.
PewDiePie unboxed his brand-new PS5 and talked about it in a recent live-stream:

Undoubtedly, the PlayStation 5 offers some brilliant next-gen features like custom-made SSD, breathtaking immersion, and haptic feedback, among others. PewDiePie started off by reading the long list of these features and sarcastically commented, ” What the f*** does that mean?”
Pewds took his time and unboxed the PS5 in the funniest way possible. He had a surprising reaction to every accessory, and also used the spare boxes as a ‘Gaming Cape’, ‘Gaming torso’, and a ‘Gfuel Box’.

Surprisingly, the YouTuber discovered a fingernail on his PlayStation. Yes, you read that right, an actual human nail. To say the least, PewDiePie was a good sport about it. He even declared the PS5 winner of the console war because of the nail.
“They nailed it, why is there a nail on it?
“That’s sick, alright, I think that’s official. PlayStation wins this generation. DNA bonus, that’s right.”
Pewds loved the DualSense controller because of its simple color scheme and claimed that it’s the coolest part. Also, he’s eager to get his own custom PlayStation 5 controller.

Despite loving the original Xbox and Halo, PewDiePie has been a Sony fan over the years. He prefers the PlayStation 5 over the Xbox Series X; however, he also claims that Microsoft’s next-gen console looks interesting.
“I wouldn’t care to buy the Xbox One, but then this one.. actually look really good. But, PlayStation, they got the games, right? They always know how to do it.
“If Xbox had Demon’s Souls, yeah.. I’ll get a f******… I’ll get a .. PlayStation.”
Even with the slip of tongue, PewDiePie cleared his stance. The attractive first-party titles that Sony offers, along with its console, seals the deal for him.
Back in the day, a lot of gamers had complained that the PS3 did not have enough games. However, Demon’s Souls carried the burden of being the highlight amongst the exclusives for the console. Naturally, it’s remake is now one of the most hyped games for the PS5.

Owing to Demon’s Souls, PewDiePie has no doubts about the winner between PlayStation 5 and the Xbox Series X. He couldn’t play his favorite game right away; however, fans can definitely look forward to him playing it in upcoming live streams.
