Arsenal host Chelsea at the Emirates Stadium this weekend and will need to get their team selection right if they hope to end an awful record against the Blues…

GK: David Ospina

Although Wojciech Szczesny played last weekend, David Ospina will surely come back in goal for Premier League games as usual.

RB: Hector Bellerin

With Mathieu Debuchy unimpressive and clearly unfit last weekend, Hector Bellerin deserves to start once again.

LB: Nacho Monreal

Back in at left-back in place of Kieran Gibbs, Nacho Monreal seems the better choice as part of the back four.

CB: Gabriel

Per Mertesacker’s injury could see Gabriel take his place at centre-back, having replaced him when he limped off in the FA Cup semi-final.

CB: Laurent Koscielny

Always first choice for Arsenal, Laurent Koscielny will surely start this match and will need to be on top of his game against this opposition.

CDM: Francis Coquelin

Arguably Coquelin’s biggest test so far, the youngster should continue in defensive midfield and will need to have another good game for the Gunners.

CM: Aaron Ramsey

Moved back after looking unconvincing on the right flank against Reading, Aaron Ramsey should partner Coquelin in Arsenal’s midfield.

RW: Alexis Sanchez

Starting from the left against Reading, Alexis Sanchez could now be on the right flank for the visit of Chelsea, with the freedom to roam and do what he can to hurt the Blues.

LW: Santi Cazorla

An in-form attacking midfielder for Arsenal, Santi Cazorla has been key for the Gunners in recent times and should take a place on the left wing.

CAM: Mesut Ozil

A player in need of a really big game, Mesut Ozil has been impressive recently and will be hoping of a repeat of his performance against Liverpool.

ST: Olivier Giroud

Rested in favour of Danny Welbeck against Reading, Olivier Giroud surely deserves to start again this weekend for the visit of Chelsea.

Manager – Arsene Wenger.

A look at how Chelsea could line up for this weekend’s away game at Arsenal, with Jose Mourinho needing to get his team right to continue his side’s march to the Premier League title…

GK: Thibaut Courtois

First choice ahead of Petr Cech this season, one would expect Thibaut Courtois to start again for Chelsea against the Gunners.

RB: Branislav Ivanovic

A strong defender with an eye for goal, Branislav Ivanovic is terrific in the big games like this one and could prove instrumental in deciding the outcome.

LB: Cesar Azpilicueta

Keeping Filipe Luis out of the Chelsea lineup, Cesar Azpilicueta will surely start again for the Blues as they face Arsenal.

CB: John Terry

A player with a good record in this fixture, Chelsea captain John Terry has been rock-solid this season and should start again for the Blues.

CB: Gary Cahill

First choice to partner Terry in defence, Gary Cahill should continue for Chelsea for the trip to Arsenal this weekend.

CDM: Nemanja Matic

A strong defensive midfielder, Nemanja Matic will need a good game here to cope with Arsenal’s attackers Alexis Sanchez and Santi Cazorla.

CM: Cesc Fabregas

Facing his old club at the Emirates Stadium for the first time since leaving in 2011, Cesc Fabregas will be hoping to have a good game for Chelsea against Arsenal.

RW: Willian

A winger who knows his defensive duties, Willian should have a key role to play this weekend in tracking back against the likes of Sanchez and Cazorla.

LW: Eden Hazard

Chelsea’s star attacker, Eden Hazard could make the difference against Arsenal here as he did against Manchester United in last week’s 1-0 victory.

CAM: Oscar

In the number ten role for Chelsea, Oscar will be another major performer for the Blues as they hope to cut Arsenal open at the back.

ST: Didier Drogba

With Diego Costa and Loic Remy both missing through injury, Didier Drogba should get the chance to continue his super scoring record against Arsenal.
