The next set of IPL fixtures, scheduled to be played between 2nd to the 8th of May, are really crucial for every team involved as teams will try to make sure they are still in contention for the top 4 spots.

The next week has the following number of matches for each team

Here are the players that you should have in your team:

Batsmen (Indian)
1. Robin Uthappa-  Robin has become the Batman for KKR of late. He has contributed heavily in the last 2 matches and one would predict his form to continue since KKR play 2 of their 3 matches at Eden Gardens and their next 2 opponents are currently 6th and 7th in the table.

2. Karun Nair–  Karun Nair is the only uncapped player who has scored 2 half centuries this season and has with that, established his position in the ever improving and impressive Delhi team. Have him in your team because of his form and the fact that he comes in to your team as a free transfer.

3. Virat Kohli–  Even though his team is struggling in this year’s IPL, Virat averages just around 100 in T20s in 2016. That’s enough reason to have him in your team and make him your batting star.

4. Shikhar Dhawan–  As unlikely as it may sound, Dhawan can be a good pick for your team. Lately, his role in the team has been of the anchor man and he looks to play maximum overs. With most teams unlikely to have him amongst their ranks, Dhawan could prove to be the difference.

Bowlers (Indian)

1. Amit Mishra– Mishra’s spin is one of the main reasons as to why Delhi is in such a good position in the points table. He is the only spinner in contention for the Orange cap and there is always a guarantee with Mishra that he will look to take wickets, even if he gets hit. Don’t believe me? Just ask Andre Russel!

2. Ravindra Jadeja– Sir Jadeja can bowl, bat, field and should be in your team. Perfect Indian all rounder, a rare breed.

3. Dhawal Kulkarni–   The Underdog. Kulkarni is someone who surprises batsmen with his extra pace and heavy ball. He is the key to Gujarat’s success this year.

Batmen (Overseas)

1. Brendan McCullum– 3 matches this week and with decent form, Baz is great gamble worth taking.

2. David Warner– Top scorer in IPL this year. Need more reasons?

3. AB de Villiers– I think you already have him in your team. If you don’t, you’ll be a nervous wreck whenever AB comes out to bat.

Bowlers (Overseas)

1. M. Rehman– Nicknamed “Fizz”,  Rehman has been a revelation in the IPL so far and with the slower ball he has, there is no stopping this talented youngster. A great shout out to be your bowling star.

2. C. Morris– Delhi has the best bowling line up this season and Morris is one of the reason why they have won 2/3 matches defending the target. With his batting being an additional asset, Morris is worth the money. Have him in your team!
