PS5 Launch Title Delayed Until Next Year

The month of November is going to be exciting for the entire gaming community. We are about to see the launch of the much-anticipated consoles from the houses of Microsoft and Sony. The Xbox Series X/S and the PS5 are ready to usher in the next-gen of gaming. Their powerful hardware enabling insane framerates even for high-res gameplay.
A roster of exciting games will be accompanying the release of the latest member of the PlayStation family, including titles that the community has been eagerly waiting for. However, the lineup of games about to release alongside the PlayStation 5 is going to be one title short.
Devs have postponed the release of the PS5 launch title Destruction AllStars

Sony recently announced on the official PlayStation blog that it will delay the release of the multiplayer title Destruction AllStars. Originally, this title was meant to release along with Sony’s latest console

Pete Smith, the Director of Product Development for the game, announced on the PlayStation blog that they have postponed its release to the month of February next year.
Destruction AllStars is somewhat similar to the popular multiplayer Rocket League. The difference is that this arena multiplayer does not include a soccer ball. Think Street Fighter, but with cars. In Destruction AllStars, players test out the strength of their cars by fighting it out in the massive arena. It features pretty sick graphics, comparable to that of the Need for Speed titles.
Sony, however, has not stated why they have postponed the release. Pete Smith says,

“This may be disappointing news for some of you who were looking to play the game at launch, but we hope you understand the decision. For those of you that have already pre-ordered the game, be it via PlayStation Store, PlayStation.com, or at retail, your purchase will be refunded.”
Moreover, this title will be available as a part of the PlayStation Plus subscription for two months for no additional cost. The PS5 will hit the stores on the 12th of November.
