On Thursday, 24th August, the latest Badminton World Federation ranking were released. Indian ace shuttler, PV Sindhu climbed up the ranking to reach the Number 4 spot, while on the other hand, Kidambi Srikanth slipped down 2 places to Number 10.

With regard to the rankings of other Indian players, the women’s duo of Ashwini Ponnappa and N Sikki Reddy were placed at 24th spot. Reddy and her male partner, Pranaav Jerry Chopra remained in 20th place. Saina Nehwal, B Sai Praneet, HS Prannoy and Ajay Jayaram remained in 16th, 19th, 15th and 17th respectively. There was no Indian representation in the top 25 in the men’s doubles.
